Biography

With a fascination for constructed textiles and experience in the fashion industry, Sallie Temple established her design studio in 2002 in York, where she weaves fashion accessories.

Her motivation is to work with raw yarns, and then create beautiful, delicate pieces exploiting hand woven technique.

Work is recognised by semi translucent structures and harmonising colourways.

Each piece is woven on a dobby loom as part of a small collection or as one of a kind.

She currently lectures at Hull College.
